Labyrinth Story 3: Flat Earth

The first attempt to create the labyrinth ended up feeling too flat.

It turned out that the Psyche, of course, soon did not want just a spiral labyrinth, but a sunken spiral labyrinth with stone walls, descending into the earth as much as reasonable.

In an area about forty feet by forty feet with a depth of about four feet, this would involve moving about 250 tons of earth and who knows how many loads of stones.

Neither of these factors were considered at all in the original, consuming idea.

It helps to have a friend with a front-end loader, to start with.
