Labyrinth Story 11: Strawberry Fields
When I had the idea for the labyrinth — or the idea had me — it was for a five year project, the culmination of the stone work I had been doing for twenty years, the final part of the Stone Sanctuary.
That was two years ago.
There will be five descending circuits, with each circuit also outlined by a native Alaska plant.
The first circuit will be wild strawberries; the red leaves are what you see in the photo.
With each circuit the stones also get larger; Waiting for ideas for the plants for the next circuits….
